Frequently Asked Questions
What is Booster Club and why does it matter?
Primary Roles: Help the Eastmark Girls Soccer coaching staff ffacilitate and accomplish anything that we can to assist in a successful and memorable season for the Ladies participating in Soccer. We are a VOLUNTEER army.
- First – all you have to do is say you want to help!
- We have 2-3 in person meetings per year to discuss major events. Otherwise, primary communication is via Email and or Text
- Biggest help is showing up to games a little early, events the team is having, or helping with supplies.
What type of events or activities does the Booster assist?
- Community nights – to include but not limited to: merchandise, coordinating the giant bird, communications to local schools, concessions
- Pre-game snacks – purchasing snacks and dropping off at the school at designated time of teams arrivals. Enough for JV and Varsity.
- Community Service/Christmas Party on December 13th – planning and execution of event
- Senior Night – have seniors fill out info prior to evening and gifts the night of, organize the giant bird
- Banquet – this is the end of the year celebration of all the girls accomplished throughout the season.
- Any injuries/surgeries – we send gifts to teammates.
- Homecoming parade. If they have one – help brainstorm a float and encourage girls to make it and ride on it
- Help plan/discuss and organize sponsorships and fundraisers to fund everything!
- Facilitate merchandise and products for ladies
What’s the difference between a booster member and a board member?
- We have to have “board positions” per the layout of the 501C3 that we are under with EHSABC.
- There has to be a point of contact, accountability and ultimately people responsible for a few specific items.
- Board members are any adults that want to help and participate in meetings/events.
