The AIA’s 3A East Region announced their Girls Soccer All-Region Teams Wednesday. Led by Freshman Midfielder McKenzie Jost, Eastmark boasted three of the top 6 points leaders (Jost -42, Sauceda – 32, Leitzell – 31) and 3 of the top 5 goal scorers (Jost – 17, Leitzell – 14, Sauceda – 13) in the Region. Junior Goalkeeper Rebecca Hinton recorded the most minutes (1,045) in goal in the Region along with the 4th lowest Goals Against Average (GAA). Freshman Emma Tomsik recorded the highest number of points (9 – 3 goals, 3 assists) of any defender in the 3A Region.
All-in-all, Eastmark had the most players (6, tied with Thatcher) and the most Freshmen (5) of any other school in the Top 25 for Points.
